FAQs Payments & Banking

We answer the most frequently asked questions here. Fast and uncomplicated.

Which bank interfaces are available?

In total, there are interfaces to more than 70 Swiss banks. You can find an overview of all supported banks under the following link. If your bank is not listed, you can also import or export the bank files (CAMT, PAIN) manually.

What types of bank connections are there?

We distinguish between “permanent” and “temporary” connections. With permanent connections, a connection process is run through once and the connection is then permanently stored. This means that account statements can be collected automatically and payment orders can be transmitted with one click. In the case of temporary connections, the reconciliation is carried out by entering the bank data, whereby the connection only exists for the duration of the retrieval and is then disconnected again. The type used depends on which interface is available at the respective bank. Bank files (CAMT, PAIN) can also be imported or exported manually, which means that banks to which no connection exists can also be used.

Can payments be triggered directly from 21.AbaNinja?

The payment orders entered for the respective supplier documents can be transmitted directly to E-Banking via the bank interfaces. For security and possible legal reasons (Money Laundering Act / GwG), the payments must still be released in e-banking each time.

How can I establish a connection to PostFinance?

The connection to PostFinance is made via a form which is generated directly in 21.AbaNinja when the PostFinance bank details are stored and the connection process is completed. The form is already pre-filled and the areas that you need to complete are marked in colour.

Can customers pay directly in the customer portal?

We offer our customers the online payment options PayPal and credit card (Stripe). If these options are activated, customers can pay bills directly online through the customer portal. The fees charged by the respective providers must be taken into account, which is why these options are primarily recommended for small amounts and many transactions.
